Pasco Police Hold Mock Drunk Driving Scene at Chiawana HS

Pasco police teamed up with Chiawana High School in Pasco with an anti drunk driving program called "Every 15 Minutes".

The program is designed to "challenges students to think about drunk and distracted driving, personal safety, and the responsibility of making mature decisions", according to reports.

During the program, one student is picked every 15 minutes to die in a drunk driving accident. Police roll in a stretcher, place a sheet on the student, and remove them from class. Students also hear from the family and friends of people lost in drunk driving accidents.

Southridge High School participated in the same program back in March. Kennewick and Kamiakin High Schools were also planned in March or early April.
