Friday, an autopsy will be performed on 22-year-old Lorenzo R. Fernandez Jr, who died just after midnight Thursday morning.  He was driving near the Stonegate Apartments near Road 68, when he was apparently shot multiple times.

As he drove away, he collided with several vehicles in the parking lot.  He died at the scene despite CPR efforts from police and first responders.   His orange Mustang showed several bullet holes.  Witnesses said at least five shots were fired,  people were seen running  from the area just after the incident.  They also reported two suspicious vehicles were seen driving away as well.

The area was searched for suspects, and now Pasco police say it's a homicide.   Officials did not say if it was gang related.
