Pia Toscano Releases Debut Single ‘This Time’ [AUDIO]

Mere days after debuting her first single, 'This Time,' on tour, former 'American Idol' contestant Pia Toscano has released the studio version.

Yesterday, Ryan Seacrest premiered the track, which was written by Ester Dean, whose previous hits include Nicki Minaj's 'Super Bass' and Rihanna's 'S&M.' Powered by an acoustic guitar riff and forceful beat, 'This Time' sets its tone with the opening line, "Well, I’m mad as hell, ain’t gon’ take it no more," and goes on to describe the messy dissolution of a relationship -- and how "This time I’m gonna do it my way."

'This Time' is the first release under Toscano's new deal with Interscope Records, where she signed after exiting 'American Idol.'
