I would like to nominate my son-in-law Michael Fiander. He teaches 5th grade at Robert Frost in Pasco and this is his third year there. He represents a wonderful male mentor for young students who do not have a male figure in their home. He has a masters degree and he loves his job. My granddaughter Aubrielle attends first grade at Robert Frost and goes to work with her daddy every morning. Michael is with the Yakima Tribe and brings Indian culture and extensive knowledge and back ground to share with his students. He is daddy also to Ashlynn who hasn't started school yet. Wonderful husband to my daughter Andrea who is a Registered Nurse. They are building their first home in Pasco and moving in May 2018. Michael is passionate and kind hearted in his profession and in supporting his family. We love him very much.
