I was just plain sad to hear we lost Whitney Houston over the weekend!  When I first heard about it, I thought it was an Internet hoax like the one about Bret Michaels not long ago.

Then when I found out it was true, it just made me so sad. I always seem to fall into this space of ruminating over life and how really short it is! It seems when people who are "bigger than life" celebrities pass away like Michael Jackson, or Whitney Houston...it's almost surreal. Like it's just NOT supposed to happen!

I began remembering all the wonderful songs she sang over the years and the movies! I loved "Body Guard". She was such a talented, beautiful singer. And then remembering the pain and turmoil she went through with Bobby Brown and her cocaine addiction etc.

Life is just NOT easy, no matter who you are or how much money you have! And I think we all need to remember just how short life can be! And hopefully remember to cherish the good and not let the silly things in life get us down!
