Richland Festivities Start Friday

The City of Richland's Winter Wonderland Week begins this Friday with Girl Scouts singing Christmas carols at 4:15 p.m. followed by tree lighting at John Dam Plaza at 4:30.

The Winter Wonderland Week is sponsored by Richland Parks & Recreation and Kadlec Regional Medical Center.

Other events span Dec. 3 through Dec. 10 and include the 4th Annual Jingle Bell Run, craft activities for children, a gingerbread house contest, model railroad display, barbershop quartet, a visit from Santa Claus and the annual Lighted Boat Parade.
