Salmon Fever on the Columbia River – RECORD Salmon Run 2014

Experts have been predicting yet another record run for returning fall Chinook salmon this year and the salmon are not disappointing us! So far 883,148 fish have been counted coming through Bonneville dam and an amazing

380,481 have made it past McNary dam. Which means there are a whole lot of fish to be caught. Last year 1.27 Million fish made their way back to the Columbia River this year should come pretty close to that number again.
