It was uncovered in a murder trial in Georgia that Washington State had been a target of a domestic terrorism plot conceived by former U.S. soldiers who served together at Fort Stewart, Georgia.

What was the first phase of the anarchist militia group’s plans? To poison all our apples.

It came to light when the group’s four ex-soldiers shot a former comrade and his girlfriend in the woods in order to protect their conspiracy. The prosecutor revealed the group’s big plans in the trial. Apparently, they discussed bombing a park fountain, taking over Fort Stewart, and in Washington State, blowing up an unnamed dam and poisoning the apple crop with the ultimate goal of overthrowing the government.

The alleged ringleader of the US ex-soldiers caught the attention of a joint-terrorism taskforce last year when he started gathering over $87,000 worth of guns and weapon components.
