The Seattle Seahawks gave up a long touchdown drive to the Lions to open their contest in Detroit, but then pretty much imposed their will the rest of the day, offensively and defensively, posting an impressive 28-14 road win and taking their record to 4-3 on Sunday.

The Seahawks continue to build one of the best rushing attacks in the league and over the past month only the L.A. Rams have gained more on the ground. The commitment to the run was rewarded again today as Chris Carson continued to churn and gain yards after contact grinding out 105 yards on 25 carries with a TD.

Now, with 6 of their last nine games at home, the month of November will be critical as every opponent, both home and away next month, are among some of the best in the league.

First, a Los Angeles home-and-home. The flying-under-the-radar Chargers, because they are being out-electrified in their own division by the Mahomes show in KC, are quietly one of the NFL's best...and we know all about the Rams and Packers. Carolina is having a year modeling the year they made their Super Bowl run, so with all of these within-conference games, the win-loss record in these next four contests may determine where the Seahawks go in the post-season... if they make the playoffs at all.

And how much fun will KC be, when the Chiefs pay a visit to Seattle on December 23rd?

Definitely staying tuned.
