Shooting Water Fowl at Columbia Park is a Big NO NO

Kennewick police are seeking charges against a local man for allegedly poaching a Canada goose in Columbia Park last week.

Witnesses  called police to report a man for shooting a goose in the park from his vehicle. When police arrived, they found a dead goose that had a bullet wound from a small caliber weapon, according to reports.

The "man" and his family are known poachers and have been on the radar of wildlife officials, according to police.

It's now up to the Benton County prosecutors office and whether they will file charges!

The suspect admits he was in Columbia Park at the time of the shooting but denies shooting the poor innocent goose.

This kind of stuff really infuriates me, not only because of the poor animal but the fact this idiot could have missed and hit a person!
