Sword Play on the Rise in Mid Columbia — Do You Do It? [POLL]

Walla Walla Parks & Rec is now offering fencing classes to children ages 9-17. Maybe it's just me but I've seen a significant rise in the number of people doing some sort of sword play in the Mid Columbia in the last few years.The Society for Creative Anachronism has always done sword play--and maybe what I've seen are affiliated groups--but when I go to big parks I often see teenagers battling.

My favorite are the archers. To be safe, they have huge padded tips, which means they can't shoot very far.

Fencing sounds pretty cool, I won't be surprised if it's the next big thing with the kids.
