Pasco PD says the number of cars stolen in January, 2024 so far is twice as many as 2022.

An oversight, or perhaps a 'defect' in the design of certain models have made them a much easier target for theft.

Richland Police recently shared the most stolen vehicles in the US.

After searching the name, it appears it's from a construction-earth moving company from Buckley, WA in Pierce County.

The car pictured is NOT the actual stolen vehicle but is almost identical.

Usually, people swipe towels, TP or small items from gyms. Sometimes, they take the exercise bands. But this guy allegedly took a car.

If we had the old 'reasonable suspicion' and ability to pursue laws in place, he'd likely be behind bars now.

Aside from the obvious, not locking doors, leaving engine running, there's another surprising issue.
