Silver is a beautiful young cat that was originally taken in by a good Samaritan who reached out to POPP for help.

It's been years in the making and now the pups and the cool cats of the Tri-Cities Animal Shelter will be getting a new home (until they get adopted out of course) right behind their original location.

More than 600 rescued cats and dogs are being flown across the country from Hawaii and over 30 have landed in Walla Walla at The Blue Mountain Humane Society.

If you know me, then you know that I am a pet lover.  Some would say I am "that cat-lady."  Over the years, I've rescued a few felines, with my husband, Jeff.  Just recently, we lost our girl Stacy, a lovely calico, who we gave a home to back in 2004...

Over the last few weeks, several cats have been mutilated and killed leading Kennewick Police to believe that someone was purposely killing stray and household pet cats.
