I was at Columbia Valley Chiropractic getting a pinched nerve attended to I noticed a Christmas tree in their lobby with some little tags attached. Each tag had something each member of this family wanted. By the way this is a family currently residing at the domestic violence shelter.

The Union Gospel Mission serves the homeless and the "hurting, hungry and hopeless." They are raising money to fund a new facility to better serve their clients in the Tri-Cities.

The American Red Cross will hold the annual Turkey Trot race at Columbia Park in Kennewick from 7:30 a.m. to about noon on Nov. 28. The race begins at 9 a.m. This family-friendly 5k or 1 mile race can be walked or run. Fun kid activities will be available and top finishers will receive prizes.
