You can watch and wager on the Kentucky Derby Saturday at the Sundowns Horse Racing Track at the Benton Franklin Fairgrounds.

This Saturday was "Extreme Race Day" at a horse track in Minnesota called Canterbury park...they race wierd things like ostriches and camels. But the best one was horse racing, with the announcer.

Had the horse won at Belmont Park on Saturday, I’ll Have Another would have become the 12th horse to capture horse racing’s Triple Crown by virtue of consecutive victories in the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes. So, besides famously becoming the first horse since Affirmed in 1978 to win all three races, what does I’ll Have Another NOT get now that it can't win the Triple Crown?

In an interesting twist of fate, jockey John Velazquez rode three-year-old horse Animal Kingdom to victory at the 137th Kentucky Derby, held Saturday at Louisville's historic Churchill Downs. Velazquez was originally scheduled to ride Uncle Mo before the horse was scratched due to a stomach virus.
