It was COLD on Sunday but at least the sun came out for a bit. My friend Nadia and I rode out on the Black Angus Ranch in Benton City. It was pleasant enough on the way out...but, on the way home, our fingers were numb and we were freezing...

The Annual Chili Ride was Sunday March 11th, and we had planned to go. But, when we woke up it was pouring rain and windy so we bagged it and just slept in. Later in the day though, it seemed to clear some so we trailered out to the Sundowns TC Riding Facility (at the Fairgrounds) in Kennewick and rode there.

Not often do we have a weekend off to get away and relax! So my boyfriend Tony and I eagerly anticipated a wonderful adventure to relish some fresh air,peace, quiet and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of our busy life!  We were envisioning  a beautiful display of open range land, glorious weather, peaceful horse rides...etc. Okay, that was NOT the scenario of this weekend! We drove out of town this weekend for a nephews birthday and on the way home decided to do a little exploring!  We like to go camping with our horses and find good trails to ride  on and good places to camp with our horses. So, we headed to the mountains for a little exploration...

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  We had a super great one! I was suprised that everything I cooked came out perfectly! We were able to spend time with family and friends and that is the best part about a holiday!
