The great Kristen Wiig returned to host SNL this week, giving the show an opportunity to resurrect all of the characters that vanished from show since her departure a year ago. Although many great characters came back, none were quite as exciting as the return of Target Lady, one of the most popular characters in all of modern SNL.

Self-proclaimed Liz Taylor devotee and tabloid mainstay, Lindsay Lohan has signed on to play her idol in Lifetime’s upcoming biopic, ‘Liz & Dick.’ After lengthy negotiations, Lohan, whose spent more time in jail and in court than on a set in the past few years, will star in the made-for-TV-movie depicting Elizabeth Taylor’s life-long romance with actor and two-time ex-husband, Richard Burton.

Justin Timberlake teamed up with Andy Samberg on this weekend's "Saturday Night Live" season finale for another riotous Digital Short. The duo reprised their much-loved Color Me Badd satire, following up 2008's "D**k in a Box" and 2009's "Motherlover" with a slow jam called "3-Way (The Golden Rule)." In the video, Timberlake and Samberg, while preparing for dates, realize they're courting the same lady: Lady Gaga, in fact, who was the night's musical guest. Kristen Wiig to Retire Two 'SNL' Characters

Get ready to see a bit less of Kristen Wiig.

In a recent interview with TIME magazine, the ubiquitous 'Saturday Night Live' cast member revealed that she is retiring two of her frequent - and arguably polarizing - characters, Gilly and Penelope.

Wiig didn't elaborate on her decision to retire the characters, though she insists they will not return, not even at Lorne Michaels' request.
