Mayor’s Wager On Americans vs. Chiefs Playoff Series

More is on the line than just a playoff series as the Tri-City Americans face the Spokane Chiefs in the WHL Western Conference Semi-Finals.Civic pride is being wagered on these games between Kennewick Mayor Young and Spokane Mayor Verner and if the Americans are victorious, Mayor Young will host Mayor Verner at the Benton-Franklin Fair Grand Parade in August.  If Spokane wins, Mayor Young has agreed to be Mayor Verner’s guest at the Spokane Lilac Parade on May 21, 2011. The losing Mayor will wear the opposition’s jersey in the parade. After last night’s game the Chiefs lead the 7 game series 2-1…….GO AMS
