Thank You Tri-Cities for Donating to ‘Christmas for Children’–Our Biggest Year Ever For Foster Kids!

I'm so proud of this community with how much support you all give for programs in need! This years 'Christmas for Children' event, gathered an incredible abundance of gifts to give to Foster Kids in the Tri-Cities!

I'm not a materialistic person, and don't really feel gifts in general are necessary, but for kids in the foster care system, it's a bit different. Often they don't have many or any personal items that make life seem a little kinder or provide an element of fun!

Just for them to receive something that someone graciously gave, to make their life a little more comfortable or a little more entertaining in hopes of them feeling cared about I think means so much!

When I was little, someone did the same for me. And I felt cared about. And that is more than a gift of materialism it felt like a gift of LOVE. So Thank you to all the Sponsors and all the people who donated this year!
