This Dog Cake I Bought in Hermiston Is Good Enough for Me to Eat!

I talked on the air about my sister's dog birthday party. My sister came to spend the holidays with us and her little Chihuahua's birthday is Christmas Day. She wanted to have a dog birthday party with about six dogs and a real cake. I talked her into moving it to Christmas Eve. To make it up to her, I wanted to really impress with the cake. I asked for suggestions over the air, and one listener directed me to Bow WOW! Cakes by Joy Bittner in Hermiston. The above cake is what she delivered and we were SOOOO pleased! It's absolutely gorgeous! The Chihuahua was on a diet so I had a little taste. Joy also gave us some dog Christmas cookies and my husband's friend thought they were for people and was munching away! So I guess even people enjoy Bow WOW! Cakes (wink).
