The family-friendly festival will be held at Richland’s John Dam Plaza on Sunday, July 16, 2017. It will kick-off with a march at 1:30 p.m., followed by the festival from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.

The march route will begin at HAPO stage, northbound along George Washington Way to proceed west on Swift and south at Jadwin, ending at the HAPO Stage. The festival will include live music and entertainment, booths, games, and prizes!

Reid Romine, a local youth LGBTQ+ activist, says, “The annual community celebration of Pride allows our LGBTQ community to stand up, celebrate each other, and humanize our acronyms. It grows awareness to help people realize we are in every culture, every religion, every socio-economic group, every race, and every community. Pride is visibility with dignity, standing together to help people see: ‘It's Just Love.’”

Local organizing partners include Out and About and My Friends Place.

There are still plenty of volunteer and sponsorship opportunities, as well as booth space for vendors and other community organizations. For more information, please visit Tri-Cities Pride on Facebook or Instagram.
