If you plan on taking the family down to the pier, just know ahead of time it is under construction.

A lot of the businesses are closed due to the construction of the boardwalk, which was damaged in an earthquake a few months back.

There is a way to get down there, but it is tricky so find out if the shops and favorite restaurants you might want to visit are open!

Don’t forget the tolls for the bridges as well, you can pay ahead before you go, or they will mail you the toll charge if you don’t. bring your wallet.
