Walla Walla Police Stage Big Raid, Drug Bust Nets 4 Arrests

6am is early for many, but not the Walla Walla Police Department, the SWAT team, and a group called City Special Teams Detectives.

They raided a home in the 500 block of East Oak Street early Thursday morning, and 9 people were detained for questioning. The house and area had been under surveillance for some time over a reported drug operation.

Two men and a woman, between the ages of 28 and 39 were arrested directly in connection with the raid, a third man nearby nabbed on an outstanding assault warrant. Officials continue to process the scene and gather evidence as the investigation continues. No word as to what type of volume of drugs were found, or the extent of the operation, but more details expected soon.
