As the big game day approaches (five days away!), more and more of the year's Super Bowl commercials are showing up early. And as promised, Steven Tyler has one for Skittles.

In the 30-second spot, which you can watch above, the Aerosmith singer and budding country star gets his first look at a portrait of him made entirely out of the rainbow-colored candy. He's not happy with it – "That's E to the Z ooh twiddly-dee 'sgusting!" he says. But the Skittles pic, which boasts Tyler's big-ass lips, counters, Ned Flanders-style, "You haven't heard me sing didlley-ding yet."

The portrait then proceeds to belt out "Dream On"'s chorus, which Tyler prompts to go "a little higher" ... and higher ... until. Just watch the spot.

Tyler's commercial follows a couple other classic-rock-inspired ads that will air during the Super Bowl on Sunday: one featuring a Queen classic and a bunch of sheep, and another that includes the first-ever commercial appearance of Van Halen's "Runnin' With the Devil."

Meanwhile, Tyler is still prepping his debut solo album, which has been in the works for a couple years now. Two singles -- "Love Is Your Name" and the recently released "Red, White & You" -- have already been released. The LP is apparently due sometime this year, but we've heard that before.

Seems Tyler has also been busy getting most of the original members of Guns N' Roses back together for their big reunion shows this year ... or maybe not.
