Who Knew? Portland Has Deepest Subway Station in the Country

If you ever get the chance, do this for your kids!

Whenever we go to the Oregon Zoo, We always jump on the elevator that will take you about 400 feet underground to the subway. The elevator ride is fun and you can give the kids a history lesson in the process.

Did you know that they have core samples once you reach the bottom that shows you all the layers.

It’s very cool.
