Why Is the Devil’s Punch Bowl Red? (And Other Questions From the Oregon Coast)
The Devil's Punch Bowl State Natural Area on the Oregon coast was one of my favorite stops during my week-long summer vacation.
The punch bowl was supposedly created when the ceilings of two caves carved by the ocean collapsed.
You may only enter it during low tide or you'll be toast.
But why is it red?
We also visited the air museum nearby.
Why is the Spruce Goose in Oregon? I thought it was stored in L.A.?
Lastly, it was AWESOME, but why does an aviation and space museum also contain a waterpark?
On your next visit to the Oregon coast, visit Devil's Punch Bowl for some fun exploration and whale watching, visit the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum, and don't forget your swimsuit!
