Why Your Facebook SHARE Button is Missing

After much research on the internet.....forums.....questions and answers.....and Facebook.com/help, there are several answers to this baffle.

Some people think it's a Settings issue...whether it can be shared to everyone or just those in your friends list. Apparently it's not.

The best answer I can get is that it's a new Facebook algorithm test. For instance, if you post, "My elbow hurts," Facebook sees that as something not worth sharing and won't give you the option. In other words, the Share button only appears on Facebook posts that are photos, videos, or links.

However, people are posting pics that friends and family might want to share and are being denied the Share button!

This apparently affects 1% of all Facebook posts right now. Not sure I believe that...

Hopefully this Facebook "test" will be over soon. Nobody likes it.
