Would You Eat Test Tube Meat? [POLL]

I read a disturbing article about test tube meat….sounds weird right. It is especially if you live across the pond.Test tube hamburgers will be served for the first time this week at a London restaurant. Scientists spent $400,000 developing the ‘Frankenburger’ from the stem cells of one cow.

The raw meat is grey with a slippery texture similar to squid or scallops. Professor Mark Post tells The Independent, ”Right now, we are using 70 per cent of all our agricultural capacity to grow meat through livestock. You are going to need alternatives. If we don’t do anything meat will become a luxury food and will become very expensive. It comes down to the fact that animals are very inefficient at converting vegetable protein into animal protein. This helps drive up the cost of meat.” Sound appetizing….yuck
