There's something that feels symbolic about standing at the altar, waiting for your bride to walk down the aisle...and knowing that you'll be cremated in the very same building someday.

According to the National Funeral Directors Association, that's a  pretty common sight right now.  More and more funeral homes nationwide are booking WEDDINGS, PROMS and PARTIES on days when they don't have funerals.

According to the NFDA, almost 10% of funeral homes have offered up their venues for special events.
