Young Male Dies ‘Car Surfing’ BMW on I-405 in Kirkland

A young male has died after trying to car surf a BMW standing out of the sunroof and fell out after the car hit a guard rail. Police initially got reports of a BMW driving erratically with someone standing out of the sunroof in Kirkland around 3:40 early Monday morning according to news reports. The caller also said they saw the BMW hit the guard rail and that person was thrown out of the car. The BMW kept driving and did not come back to help the victim.

Police got a call later from someone asking to meet with them about the accident and went to meet them. When police arrived, nobody was there but they found the BMW close by. Police still do not know who was driving the car.
