Walla Walla Woman Gives a Mom Kidney to Save Her Life

It's nice to have two kidneys... one to share! A Walla Walla woman saved her best friend's life by donating one of her kidneys. The friend was pregnant and her kidneys just stopped working. She had lots of family and friends try to donate, but none were a match except her friend.

If she didn't get the transfer she wouldn't have lived to raise her newborn and her other two children!

I wish I had a good friend with an extra liver. I don't need it yet but I'm working on it. :-O
