‘Knife Vs Carpenter Square’ – Man Looses Ear Over Woman in Pasco

A man partly lost his ear (temporarily) after a violent fight broke out between an ex-husband and current boyfriend over a Pasco woman. One man was armed with a knife, the other armed with a carpenter square and both had to go to the hospital when the melee was over.

Donald A. Johnson was living in the back yard of his ex-wife's home in a trailer when the fight broke out with her current boyfriend according to news reports. Johnson allegedly stabbed the boyfriend with a knife and then the boyfriend struck Johnson in the head with a carpenter square. Then Johnson reportedly threw a piece of wood at the boyfriend and the two men separated.

Both men had to go to the hospital and Johnson had to have his ear sown back on. After getting medial treatment, Johnson was arrested and booked into the Franklin County jail.
