Nurse Found Dead After Falling for Prank Call About Prince William and Kate’s Baby

We were all laughing yesterday about how two Australian DJs got through to Kate Middleton's hospital room phone and found out her condition by impersonating Queen Elizabeth. Today the story turned tragic as the nurse who patched the DJs through was found dead.According to CNN, it is suspected she committed suicide. Her coworkers describe her as "excellent" and respected.

Her name has been released as Jacintha Saldanha. London police were notified today, Friday, at about 1:35 a.m. Pacific Time that she was found dead.

The DJs, Mel Greig and Michael Christian, have apologized for the prank, saying they didn't think it would work.

Saldanha was found dead just yards from the hospital where she worked. She is reported to have been married with two children and was 46 years old.

The royal family has expressed sadness at learning the news.
