Wednesday afternoon, Pasco police got to play Pokemon Go, or at least chase a suspect wearing one of those shirts.

Authorities attempted to serve a wanted person's warrant at an apartment complex off Road 100. The suspect, identified as Michael Wood, 23, was wanted on outstanding warrants.

His girlfriend, Kolana Montoya Beazeale, 18, told police he wasn't there, but they weren't buying her story. An alert neighbor told officers outside they saw Wood jump from the 3rd story balcony, and run off through a nearby field. After a 3/4 mile chase, Police K-9 Jucon quickly dropped Wood to the ground, and he surrendered to officers.

In this case, Pokemon Go ended up nabbing a wanted suspect. Wood is also facing resisting arrest and eluding charges to with his already outstanding warrant. His girlfriend was also arrested for rendering criminal assistance and false reporting.
