Storm Showed Up Late but Came with 3,499 Lightning Strikes!

Kids cancelled afternoon pool parties. People hurried home from the store. Many plans were changed or revised because of the storm warning that from 2-5 p.m. would be severe! But it never happened. Not until much later, anyway. But wow for those who stayed up late was it ever a show! 34,499 lightning strikes hit the ground during this storm and an extra 28,000 bolts lit up the clouds (not touching ground)!
