Skip The Stairs - New Badger Mountain Trail Opens!

Spring weather is finally here in the Tri-Cities and Columbia Basin and guess who's awake and lurking...RATTLESNAKES!

The state legislature approved partial funding to purchase land on Candy Mountain to make a hiking trail. Benton County must raise the remaining funds, but it looks promising.

We are very lucky to live in this area and here's another reason Badger Mountain! I hiked it twice this weekend. I was amazed to see so many Tri-Citians enjoying and getting one heck of a work out on Badger Mountain.

I have such a busy day today and have to be at work early so I hiked badger around 6am. It was absolutely gorgous out! And the flowers are all in bloom! And NO, still haven't found my bracelet...and that's okay. I hope whoever finds it, enjoys it as much as I did...

I've been hiking Badger Mountain again with my dogs. I'm trying to do it every other day. I've decided it's a pretty good leg work out to go straight up the mountain and then run down it. I did that three times over the weekend and my legs were sooo sore...

Okay I promise I won't post EVERYDAY that I go. But, it was kinda cool today when we hiked Badger Mountain in the snow! I took a bunch of pics this morning! It was an awesome way to start the day! If you have never done it...You may want to re-consider...
