In a posting from the Benton County Fire District, they say firefighters remained busy Sunday night and into Monday morning as numerous fires sparked across the Tri-Cities region.
The State of California is under a State of Emergency due to several major wildfires burning from Northern to Southern California over 200,000 people have been evacuated from their homes
The Benton County Fire Department and the National Weather service have issued an URGENT Fire & Weather advisory for today July 23rd 2pm to 5pm a significant storm is to pass though the Columbia Basin Area including Benton Franklin and Umatilla Counties. This will be a fast moving storm with "ABUNDANT" lightning!
