The Gonzaga University Bulldogs squeaked out a victory earlier today against Southern University as March Madness really got under way. I had my iPad muted while watching the game and didn't notice the announcers butchering the pronunciation of 'Spokane' and 'Gonzaga', but apparently one of the school's most prideful fans took offense it. Ohio, Cincinnati and Xavier all won on Sunday to join Ohio State in the NCAA basketball tournament round of 16. Top-seeded North Carolina and Michigan State also won to advance to the regional semi-finals. Here’s a full recap of the day’s action in the NCAA tournament:

As you know I'm not really into this March Madness but when I saw this video I thought it was cool and I'm not a cat person either! Enjoy.... good luck with your "thingie" (Bracket)  

The NCAA basketball tournament is wide-open in a way that no other major American sporting event is, hence its nickname “March Madness.” But if you were to single out the other distinguishing characteristics of the tourney, they would be the brackets that everyone is so fond of filling out and the fact that a good chunk of the games take place when folks are supposed to be at work.
