You probably read the story about a card skimmer that was found at a Kennewick gas station yesterday... this scam is alive and well in our area. I read somewhere that Tri-Citians have lost in the neighborhood of $100,000 to this type of scam in recent months and when you see how quickly and easily these devices are to install you'll think twice before you swipe...

Check your accounts, according to Police, 150 accounts have been compromised in the Tri-Cities from fraudulent card readers. A new wave of accounts have been hacked across Pasco, Richland and Kennewick.
