With the State Supreme court ruling it was cruel and unusual punishment, and with Gov. Inslee's moratorium on executions, it's basically a formality for legislature to officially ban the penalty.

With one moratorium, and stroke of a pen,  Gov. Inslee just made the Death Penalty a HOT BUTTON issue in Washington state.

On Tuesday's edition of 'The Talk,' Julie Chen made an "executive decision" and, rather than break for live coverage, decided to read the Casey Anthony verdict herself. The results caused a furor among the panel and studio audience. As Chen read that Anthony had been acquitted of first degree murder and aggravated child abuse, the audience cried out in disbelief and Leah Remini threatene
