I would like to again bring it to folks' attention that picking up trash can be done solo and an event isn’t needed!!

This Block Walk will be covering the areas from McKinley down to Cherry on north 6th Ave. Looks as though the neighborhood could use some help! It’s going to be a warm day so we’re starting early, arrive when you can.

Two Keep Yakima Clean Events taking place in the month of June. Saturday, June 12th at 7 pm and Tuesday-Saturday June 22nd - 26th teaming up with rotary to rebuild the McGuire Playground on the Yakima Greenways. By attending you'll be entered into Keep Yakima Cleans first drawing, $70 to spend at Valicoff Family Farms in Wapato!

You know when it's windy and those peices of paper fly out of your car? You don't think much about it, but amplify that by every car and it really is an everyone issue.

We need not only volunteers to help pick up garbage...we need a few drivers that are willing to tow a trailer and help collect the bagged garbage. All the supplies are provided so we just need you!

Help spread the word and if you're in need of volunteer hours that need to be signed off on. Safe Yakima Valley has teamed up with Keep Yakima Clean to help out

If you've noticed, there is trash everywhere. It piles up when people throw their cigarette butts out the window or push all the empty bottles and wrappers out of a car into ditches. Don't even get me started with the discarded needles and random loose shoes...
