28-year old Victor Gutierrez was identified and taken into custody Friday morning.

It was quite the scene on Saturday night the 14th when Kennewick Police arrived near the the intersection of W 4th Ave. and S Union St.

No officers were injured in the collision.

Hernandez is known to go by the name of Cazz.

The woman was walking in a crosswalk when she was struck by a pickup turning left.

Police are continuing to investigate

On Wednesday, it was reported that the driver of a blue mini van tried to abduct a student walking to Park Middle School.

He's believed to have started a fire at Kennewick's Walmart.

The suspect exited his vehicle and fled, leaving the scene of a collision without exchanging information.
