Ski Bluewood has announced it's closing after the Governor Inslee's press conference yesterday calling for the closure of all recreation areas.

We now have our final winner of the Ski Bluewood Photo Contest. You shared some great pictures and one video. A big snowstorm is predicted this week so get your skis or board waxed and be ready to play in the mountains this weekend.

We're into Week 2 of our Ski Bluewood Photo Contest. We'll pick another winner on Tuesday. We have two new submissions this week. Check out the contest blog to see them in the slide show -- numbers 7 & 8 -- or to submit your own photo....

The randomly-selected winner for our Ski Bluewood contest is Rachel Nelson. Her photo is No. 4 in the slideshow. We'll choose three more -- one per week -- this month.
