Must be currently employed as a Law Enforcement Officer or have been laid off or retired, in good standing, within the past 24 months. •Substitution: Two additional years of experience as a police officer may be substituted for the college education requirement. Licenses and Certifications (Must submit proof of valid license and current certification.)•Possession of a valid driver's license. •Possession of a state-issued Basic Law Enforcement Certificate. Essential Job Functions: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer. Drivers must maintain safe operation of company vehicles on all public and private roadways and property.
Drivers will conduct themselves with professionalism as Class A CDL Drivers using safe driving techniques, defensive driving, and abiding by all of the DOT mandated regulations which may apply to their day to day work.
