June 3, 2014 Where I grew up in southern California the only birds we had were seagulls, blue jays and crows. Since moving here to the Columbia Basin I discovered a whole new world of birds. Here we have bald eagles, hawks, red-winged blackbirds and many more.

I love the HOT temps, but often times my DOG does NOT! I know we all love our dogs and want to take them places with us, but please remember that leaving your pet in a hot car even for just minutes, while you run into a store can kill them.

May 28, 2014 We recently had a new alarm system installed in our home and let me tell you it works well. The alarm system tech. assured me that my under 50 lb. dogs would NOT set of the motion detector. WRONG
May 22, 2014 Darn Cheat Grass gets imbedded in my horses fetlocks. Poor boy, I spent about an hour trying to brush it all out.
Cheat Grass can be nasty for horses in all kinds of places. Including in their mouth and between their teeth
May 22, 2014 I went on a beautiful ride this morning! I rode my Horse Galeron and ponied my little mare so she could go too!
