City of Kennewick Hires a Herd of Goats.. Why You Ask? [Video + Pic’s]

My husband and I were watching the 6 O'clock news last night and a story about some goats caught our attention..The Spirit of America Trail is just a few blocks away from my home in Kennewick so we went to investigate

KEPR news reported:

The City of Kennewick has contracted with Healing Hooves, LLC to provide natural vegetation management in Zintel Canyon starting May 8th.

A herd of over 200 goats will be working in the canyon for approximately 10 days. Notices regarding this vegetation management project will be placed at each end of the trail.

Goats to mow the grass brilliant I thought what a great way to #1 feed goats and #2 to clean up the canyon! KUDOS to you City of Kennewick you got it right in this case!
