John Day Dam Sports Red White and Blue Lights!

If you plan on traveling through the Columbia River Gorge anytime soon you may want to pay attention to the Dam's specifically the John Day Dam.

My Husband and I were returning home from our visit to the Portland area this weekend and I spotted the amazing lights across the John Day Dam. We had a late start getting home but worth it because of the awesome lights!

The trip started off a little rough as a wheel on our boat trailer flew off nearly causing a wreck on the opposite side of the highway on Friday. BTW those were new tires and rims we just had installed....luckily no one was hurt and the Tire place is going to pay for the damage....pretty scary I must admit!

So we started over on Sat. and here is what the Gorge looked like from the Washington side of the river!
