My favorite time of the year Spring and one of my favorite things to do in the spring is hit the local farmer's markets! Although selection is limited this early in the season there is always a great variety of homemade soaps, pastries and crafts.

Local Columbia Basin asparagus is what you'll mainly find in season right now and wow there are some amazing varieties available and yo may want to branch out and try them.

Pasco Farmer's market opens May 3rd 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. located at at the corner of West Columbia Street and South Fourth Avenue.

Prosser Farmers Market opens May 3rd 8 a.m. to noon. The market is in the Prosser City Park, Seventh Street & Sommers Avenue.

Walla Walla Valley Farmers Market opens May 3 9 a.m. to 1 p.mat 363 Orchard St.at the Walla Walla County Fairgrounds.

The Downtown Farmers Market in Walla Walla opens May 3
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays at 4th Avenue and Main Street.

Hermiston Farmers Market opens May 3 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.at McKenzie Park, 320 S. First St., Hermiston.
