Record Breaking Fall Salmon Fishing On The Columbia River Extended

Fishermen and women are very excited this year because of the record breaking salmon run. Fish counters predicted around 600,000 thousand fish this season however numbers have exceeded that this year with counts over the 1 million mark! And yes I am wearing a John Deere cap which is now my official lucky fishing cap...

Make sure you have your proper fishing license but by all means don't miss out on this years record run. This fish I caught was my very 1st salmon ever so as you can see I was pretty excited. I will say my fish was pretty beat up. hey these guys make the epic journey that to this day amazes me. Check your area's fishing guidelines but I hear fishing for salmon has been extended until the end of the month.
