Richland Rated Top 25 Best Places to Retire in Money Magazine!

RICHLAND RATED TOP 25 BEST PLACES TO RETIRE IN MONEY MAGAZINE!

In a recent edition of Time’s Money Magazine, Richland was runner-up as one of the best places to retire.

Twenty-five towns that offer a high quality of life and low cost of living were featured. The article targeted various categories, including best outdoor recreation, art life, college-town life, golf communities, and waterfront living. They then selected 4 runners up and 1 winning town in each category. Richland was listed second, behind first place winner St. George, Utah, under the outdoor recreation or “Great Outdoors” category. Richland was cited for its waterways; a haven for kayaking, fishing, and boating. Other outdoor recreation amenities mentioned included biking the 23-mile long Sacagawea Trail and hiking Badger Mountain. The fact that Washington has no state income tax didn’t hurt either.
